All About Forskolin Extract

Forskolin Extract Promotes Lean Body

Important To Know Before You Start:

Forskolin works best as a part of a complete dieting program; eating healthy foods, exercise and supplementation with Forskolin! Diet supplements assist in the weight loss process.  However, if you overeat or have bad eating habits no weight loss supplement will be effective. Use Forskolin as one part of a complete diet program and you will see the results.

It will take several weeks for Forskolin to build up in your system and for you to start seeing the effects and results.  Taking the recommended dosage each day is important to maximizing the effects.

Our Forskolin is the recommended diet dosage 1 capsule twice per day, a 20% extract yielding 50mg of pure Forskolin.  We recommend this dosage for dieters & athletes, and this dosage works for most people, and is the doctor recommended dosage.

However, you can safely double the dosage if you are not seeing results or want to maximize the dosage.  That is why we have two diet dosage levels. We recommend starting with one capsule twice per day, and then increasing it to two capsules twice per day after 3 – 4 weeks, if you need or want a stronger dose. Again, one capsule twice per day is effective for most people.

Diet supplements, like prescription drugs, have varying levels of efficacy from one individual to another.  Everyone is unique in how their body responds to them.  If you do not see the benefits from Forskolin after one month of use, as part of your complete diet program, contact us to discuss alternatives that may be more effective for you, and remember, we guarantee your satisfaction.

All About Forskolin:

Forskolin (coleus forskohlii) is a naturally-occurring chemical compound whose highly-regarded association with being a potential weight loss catalyst and muscle building accelerator has exploded with popularity…but why the sudden interest now?

Forskolin flower

Forskolin, an exotically-acclaimed extract and multipurpose ingredient (labdane diterpene) is derived from the root of the Plectranthus Barbatus plant. It is and has been an important cultural and medicinal plant throughout the world, especially in traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine for many years, expressing beneficial anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Forskolin’s deeply-rooted origins come from the mint family and is commonly found in eastern hemisphere locations; Thailand, India and Burma. This potent plant has been known for activating adenylate cyclase (cAMP an enzyme related to multiple beneficial cellular functions) and is widely-known for its inherent ability to stimulate hormones which activate desired fat burning mechanisms within the body –> thus sparking, starting and innately-insinuating the “pure Forskolin for weight loss” debate.
Let’s embark on an organic, energetic and fantastic journey as we dive deep into the accompanying scientific literature and related medical / clinical data surrounding Forskolin supplementation.

Health Benefits of Forskolin:
For years, it has been under the radar in terms of national notoriety and publicity for being a candid weight loss ingredient. Now, Science, Technology and mainstream Media are calling it a global gift from the ‘weight loss gods’ calling it “lightening in a bottle” (more on that below).
Typically you would see it referred to as and paired with primarily supporting and treating cardiovascular/respiratory disorders (which is powerful side note by itself) … or even popular amongst bodybuilding communities and forums for its muscular promoting and boosting effects, and even popping up in skincare creams and tanning lotions. However, in the past 2 to 3 years, the natural, non-synthetic version has also been linked to a wide array of positive fat burning effects that can help support healthy weight management by reducing body fat in a safe, effective manner.

Forskolin For Weight Loss: Hype or Hope?

It is hard to ignore the growing and looming information about weight loss – it is literally and figuratively everywhere – a projected $60 plus billion-dollar annual industry itself (that’s a lot of yearly money for trying to lose weight). This leads us down the rational rabbit hole on a moral path of digging deeper to find out what this perennial plant extract can do for those looking to supplement with a natural alternative towards losing weight. We all know morbid obesity or being severely overweight will lead to major health complications and problems down the road if not dealt with in a timely fashion, which is why the emergence and importance, as well as significance of our Forskolin review can benefit you greatly.

Before we break down the barriers on the examined, alleged health benefits, we figured to further conclude and support these claims mentioned below, that going straight to the horse’s mouth on one of the most trusted medically-reviewed websites of the modern day is a great way to kick things off:

WebMD.com: How does it work? Forskolin works on muscles in the heart and in the walls of the blood vessels. It produces a more powerful heartbeat and widening of the blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure.

Forskolin has also been known to increase levels of cAMP a compound beneficial for a wide range of biochemical and physiological effects, including lipolysis (burning up/breaking down of fat cells), decrease blood clots, and increase relaxation of arteries, help with asthma and obesity.

Simply put, Forskolin is a cyclic AMP agonist. (“An agonist is a chemical that binds to a receptor and activates the receptor to produce a biological response”) The adenylate cyclase enzyme is obtained from cAMP and has the function to signaling many different organisms into motion. cAMP belongs to a group of enzyme known as “second messenger” these messengers help increase the activity of neurotransmitters.

Because of this particular enzyme and its touted beneficial effects, pure natural Forskolin extract supplements have been associated with possibly helping increase memory, improve cardiovascular activity, and support activating faster mechanisms for losing body fat.

Forskolin Extract Study: What’s the Science Show?

There is no scientific-style shortage of credible medical or governmental clinical studies to show off the supporting evidence that Forskolin extract has major health enhancing factors and features to pay attention to.  Here’s a small sample to show the facts to date:

  • Study 1: Body Composition and Hormonal Adaptations in Obese Men
  • Study 2: Effects of Coleus Forskohlii Supplementation in Mildly Overweight Women
  • Study 3: Effects of Forskolin on cAMP, cGMP and free fatty acid levels
  • Study 4: Topical rescue and skin protection with Forskolin-based tanning lotion

There’s a lot more medical jargon to sift through, but instead of boring you with that – let’s continue with our overview of what all this means for you, today.

In vitro studies of the plant have found it to initialize the process of lipolysis (fat break down) in fat cells. In addition, more clinically-induced studies at Penn State University were shown to discover many overweight and obese individuals undeniably and inevitably have unusually low levels of cAMP production. Based on these studies and due to the fact that Forskolin increases the production of cAMP, this is why the jazz and jargon of the all-natural pure extract version of Forskolin has been connected with weight loss benefits.

As another more recent university study showed in summary, 6 overweight women took 250 mg of 10% pure natural Forskolin extract twice a day for 9 weeks. Once the study commenced, results revealed participants lost a staggering average weight of 10 pounds and burned over 8% of body fat per person – while blood pressure levels were recorded and also were lowered across the board among all active participants. These outcomes have indicated the initial thrust for the Forskolin supplement marketplace to explode as a safe alternative for the use of weight loss and to maintain a healthy body composition.

Can Forskolin Help Burn Body Fat?

Let’s get real for a moment when we ask this question about natural supplementation for real weight loss effects – nothing, and I do mean nothing, will ever compare to lifestyle choices of diet, exercise and productive movement habits.

We do get asked a lot about Forskolin diet attributes and what works best so that is what we are going to cover next. Before we dive deep into the pure Forskolin/wholefood diet benefits that must be duly noted in order for this review to have the effect we want it to have.

The fuss and buzz behind Forskolin is due to the direct link its health properties have in helping burn fat quicker than normal dietary adjustments since it was found to help in the breakdown of adipose tissue (fancy name for belly fat), which helps release fatty acids in a process known as thermogenesis (which of course is why you need to stay hydrated daily to flush, eliminate and remove this toxic waste material and debris).

During the process of stimulating thermogenesis, the internal temperature of the body naturally increases causing a more rapid metabolic rate, which will result in more excess body weight and calories to melt and burn off. Let’s see what the scientific community and medical literature behind Forskolin diet supplementation has to offer and tell us.

Because of its appearance on a popular TV Show, “The Dr. Oz Show” – consumers and enthusiasts of the weight loss easy button went wild – and while the real medical literature and evidence positively supports the claims made as a potent miracle cure-all extract, there are safety features which need to be noted and acknowledged by all – remember after all, we serve and protect everyone interested in nutritional supplements!

Forskolin Dosage:

We recommend no more than the dosage of 25 to 50 mg per day (to start – allowing the body to adapt and adjust).  Our Forskolin is the recommended diet dosage delivering 50mgs of pure Forskolin extract daily in two capsules. We also offer a Max Diet Dosage which delivers 100mg per day. Follow the directions on the bottle.

 Any Forskolin Side Effects?

According to the studies in which we diligently combed through, significant Forskolin supplementation was linked with lowering blood pressure in adults who were taking 150mg per day (be sure to consult with resident expert if you are on other medications).

We see it as our duty to list all potential interactions and classifications of problems that could arise – and if you have had heart disease – be cautious when considering Forskolin.  Some users did show minor fluctuations in heart rate, which can cause problems in adults who’ve suffered from heart conditions in the past.

Therefore, it’s probably not a good idea to take Forskolin if you have past heart complications or issues of any kind.

Lastly, if you’re taking certain medications like blood-thinners or anti-hypertensive medications, you might want to avoid Forskolin. This is because Forskolin can act as a fluctuating blood thinner and therefore could cause common complications with the medications you are taking. In other words, BE WISE when deciding.

For the most part, the average adult is completely fine and safe to take Forskolin (a pure extract/natural formula of course). These special circumstances are the most important possible complications and therefore should be taken into consideration for anyone dealing with these health severities.

Most adults do not see any side effects, which are common among many other diet products because of the way they are processed and manufactured. If anything, some dieters feel some slight stomach discomfort or nausea as the body adjusts to taking Forskolin and we recommend you use common sense and stop taking immediately!

Who Can Take Forskolin?

What about pregnant or nursing mothers? Can they take Forskolin?

Like most dietary supplements, it is not recommended that pregnant or nursing mothers take Forskolin. If a doctor or medical professional gives the okay, the mother should still carefully monitor her health to make sure no side effects or health complications arise.
Still, it’s probably best to avoid Forskolin or any dietary supplement if you’re a pregnant or a nursing mother.

What about children? Can they take Forskolin?

Children should be especially careful about what they consume, especially supplements. While there is no evidence that Forskolin has any negative effects on the children, it is still recommended that children under the age of 18 avoid Forskolin.

This isn’t to say that Forskolin will cause any health problems but rather it is unknown whether or not Forskolin could have negative effects.
For the average adult, Forskolin is a great fat burner that can help burn fat and lose some pounds. Forskolin is best used as a way to jumpstart weight loss and it should not be relied upon.

There is no magic bullet for weight loss but Forskolin can be a great way to put yourself on a path to a leaner, healthier body.
